Freighter suspected to have caused a hit and run accident
The "Tayo 6" was suspect to have been involved in a collision with a Korean fishing boat north of Jeju which was tsruck by a freighter on July 11, 2016, at 2 a.m. The skipper of the boat died. The Korean Coastguard figured out the "Tayo 6" as a main suspect. The vessel was ordered to anchor and was surveyed. A fresh 50 centimeter scratch was found at the bow.
