Grunded ship blocked harbour
The "Lady Carina" ran aground on Aug 22, 2013, on a sand patch at the Punda site whilst entering the port of Willemstad and turned due to the strong current. The ship obstructed the entrance of the port. First the cargo vessel was pushed back by 2 KTK pilot boats, and later one KTK tug towed the vessel into port , no damage was reported. On Aug 23 the ship proceeded to La Guaira where it docked on Aug 24 with a stop at Curacao on Aug 23.
