Unconscious crew member medevaced after fall from deck crane
The Indian Coast Guard rescued a Chinese crew member of the "Heilan Star" after he fell from the deck crane and became unconscious on June 27, 2012, around 4 p.m. The vessel was on its way back to Singapore from Bandar Abbas. After receiving the information, the Coastguard advised he master to proceed towards Mumbai coast and a CG air squadron immediately proceed towards it and medevaced the man. He was admitted to the Breach Candy hospital for treatment.
