Collision with fishing boat
Cheng Lu 28 rammed into a small fishing boat on Jan 15 in Hainan Strait, sending boat to bottom. Five fishermen aboard the boat jumped overboard, two were rescued by the freighter, presumably Cheng Lu 28, three went missing, S & R under way. Cheng Lu 28 is en route from Vietnam to Korea. Vessel was ordered to sail to nearest port, and as of evening Jan 15 was moored in Haikou, Hainan. Maritime Bulletin http://www.odin.tc
