Allision in Bremerhaven
On Sep 29, 2016, at 4.10 p.m. the "Hegemann 4“ was in allision with the Dutch jack up ship "MPI Enterprise" (IMO: 9578244), which was berthed at the Strom Quay in Bremerhaven. The dredger was working off the quay when it slammed into the foreship of the jack up vessel with its stern which suffered a breach of 30 centimeters length in the hull. The ship was detained for repairs. The dredger suffered damage at the superstructure and a railing and was able to continue working in the meantime. The police investigated against the captain of the dredger.
