Trawler disabled off Stellendam
On Dec 10, 2014, the KNRM-lifeboat „Antoinette“ was called to assist the Dutch trawler „Jan Cornelis III – SL 42“, 475 gt (IMO: 9056155), which had its propeller fouled by a net. The lifeboat went on standby while the trawler headed for Stellendam with reduced engine power and rudder. The ship got ahead with a speed of four knots, escorted by the lifeboat. Once in port, divers were to clear the propulsion gear.
