Refloated, Japan sea
General cargo vessel Ussuri ran aground at around 0637 LT May 11 13 in Dzhigit Bay, Primorye, Japan sea. Vessel was staying at anchor, and drifted aground when storm hits the bay. Vessel contacted the rocky bottom full length and developed a small list. Reportedly, ballast tanks were damaged, and there was small water ingress in engine room. Vessel was refloated at 1652 LT May 15 with the help of icebreaker Kapitan Khlebnikov (IMO 7824417), and taken to anchorage for survey.

FESCO’s general cargo Ussuri ran aground in Dzhigit Bay, Primorye, Japan sea, at 06:37 LT May 11 13, reported Ministry of Emergency Situations, Russia. No damages and leaks reported. Salvage tug Lazurit (IMO 8832590) dispatched to assist.
