Bulkcarrier ran aground
On Aug 18, 2014, at 8.50 p.m. the Lianyungang Maritime Safety Agency was informed about the grounding of the "Garima Prem" off Lianyungang with 72555 tons of iron ore on board. The vessel was refloated on Aug 19 around 1 a.m. with the high tide, assisted by tugs, and moved to a safe depth where it was anchored. No visible damages reported, but the vessel was to undergo a survey. On Aug 22 the vessel was at anchor off Lianyugang.
