Two Indian LPG tankers granted permission to transit Strait of Hormuz safely
The two Indian-flagged LPG tankers 'Jag Vasant' and 'Pine Gas' (IMO: 9315680) were set to pass through the Strait of Hormuz en route to India after being granted passage by the Iranian authorities. The tankers departed Mina al Ahmadi early on March 23, 2026, and were sailing close to the Iranian coast. They will pass between the islands of Larak and Qeshm, a route designated by Iranian authorities for vessels granted safe passage.
