Technical failure near Ayvalik
The "Haya", sailing from Nemrut Bay, to Aliaga in ballast, suffered a technical failure and sheltered at Ayvalik anchorage under its own power on May 5. Repairs were still being carried out by the crew while the vessel was moored in pos. 39° 30.89' N 026° 53.77' E.
Engine trouble in Mycale Strait
The "Amira Amina", en route from Sidon to Tuzla, in ballast condition, suffered a technical failure during the passage of the Mycale Strait on Nov 17, 2018, at 5 a.m. The vessel dropped anchor at Karanlik Liman Anchorage. The repairs are being carried out by the crew before resuming the voyage to Tuzla. It arrived at Tuzla Shipyard on Nov 25 for permanent repairs with shore-based support, and left the port again on Jan 18, 2019, at 3.50 p.m., headed to Izmit where it berthed on Jan 19 at 3.30 p.m.

The "Jansum" which had been laid up for a year in Leer was docked at the Emder Werft und Dockbetriebe in Emden on aug 23, 2016, after having been sold to El-Amira Maritime Agencies Company in Alexandria and renamed "Amira Amina".
