Allision in Jeddah
On July 2, 2020, the 'Jade' while docking at berth no.30 in Jeddah, allided with the bulk carrier 'Medi Fuji' which was moored at berth no.29. A mooring platform on the bow of the 'Jade' suffered damage above the centre line panama lead. An ABS Class Surveyor attended the scene on July 6 and issued a outstanding/recommendation to crop and renew the affected area/item to the satisfaction of the attending surveyor with due date on Oct 25. The 'Medi Fji' sailed from the port of Jeddah on July 4 at 2.45 p.m., bound to Kavkaz, ETA July 12. The 'Jade' left port on July 7 at 7 p.m., bound to Mombasa with an ETA as of July 28.
