The 'Isle of Arran', serving on the route Oban-Craignure, suffered a technical issue on March 14. As a consquence, the scheduled sailing from Oban at 07:20 a.m. were initially announced to be delayed by approximately 40 minutes before being cancelled completely, as well as the departure from Craignure at 8.40 a.m.

The 'Isle of Arran', sailing on the route Oban-Craignure, suffered a technical issue on March 3, that required further investigations. As a consequence, the following sailings have been cancelled: Departure Gigha - 07:35 a.m., 08:30 a.m., 09:30 a.m., 10.30 a.m. and 11.30 a.m. Departure Tayinloan - 08:00 a.m., 09:00 a.m., 10.00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. This had a knock on effect to further sailings of the day. After the technical issue has been resolved, the vessel iwas operating behind schedule. However, passengers were required to check in as normal.

The 'Isle of Arran', serving on the route Oban-Craignure, suffered a technical issue with the bow thruster, which required further investigations, oin the morning of Jan 12, 2026. As a consequence, the scheduled 08:00 a.m. sailing from Craignure was currently delayed. After the trouble was fixed, the ferry was operating one hour delayed. Ferry to be repositioned after repairs

Following successful sea trials, repairs of the 'Isle of Arran', serving on the route Kennacraig-Islay, have been completed on Dec 11. The return on the route was, however, dependent on the successful repositioning from Lochboisdale. There was to be a review on Dec 12 by 3:30 p.m.

The 'Isle of Arran', serving on the route Oban--Lochboisdale, was repositioned to Oban for repairs on the morning of Dec 4. Following the successful completion of repairs, the following additional sailing were to be operated: - Departure Oban 11:00 a.m.; - Arrival Lochboisdale 04:45 p.m.

Sailings cancelled due to issue with toilets

The 'Isle of Arran', serving on the route Ardrossan-Brodick, suffered an issue with the passenger toilets on Nov 9. As a consequence, there were limited toilets available on the 08:20 a.m. crossing from Brodick and 09:45 a.m. sailing from Ardrossan. The accessible toilet remained in use. The 09:45 a.m. departure from Ardrossan was slightly delayed to allow contractors onboard to carry out investigations and repairs to resolve the issue. Due to repairs with the toilets taking longer than anticipated, the departure from Ardrossan and the following crossing from Brodick at 11:05 a.m. were then cancelled. There will be a review by 11:30 for the 12:30 from Ardrossan. Following the repairs, the vessel required cleaning operations prior to resuming service. The departure from Ardrossan at 12:30 p.m. and 3:20 p.m. and from Brodick at 1:55 p.m. at 4:40 p.m. were cancelled too. The 'Isle of Arran' finally resumed its service with the timetabled 6:00 p.m. sailing from Ardrossan.

The 'Isle of Arran', serving on the route Kennacraig-Islay, suffered a technical issue with its port side stabilizer on Aug 31 and hat to cancel the scheduled sailing at 06:00 p.m. The ship had to berth overnight in Kennacraig. The scheduled 07:00 a.m. sailing on Sep 1 had to be cancelled with more reported to be at risk of cancellation. The 'Isle of Arran', serving on the route Kennacraig-Islay, suffered a technical issue impacting the sewage system on July 28, As a consequence, the scheduled departures from Kennacraig at 10:00 a.m. and03:30 p.m. and from Port Ellen at 12:45 p.m. and 06:00 p.m. have been cancelled to carry out repairs. Due to the ongoing issue with the sewage system, more sailings had to be cancelled on July 29: Departure Port Askaig – 07:00 a.m.; Departure Kennacraig – 10:00 a.m.; Departure Port Ellen – 12:45 p.m. The ferry 'Finlaggan' continued as a replacement ship and operated the following sailings: Departure Kennacraig – 07:00 a.m. Departure Port Ellen – 09:45 a.m. After the 'Isle of Arran’s sewage system was repaired. the ferry resumed service on Juily 29 at 1:00 p.m., departing from the port of Kennacraig.

The 'Isle of Arran', serving on the route Ardrossan -Brodick, suffered a technical issue affecting the firefighting system which required the attendance of contractors on July 20. As a consequence, all sailings were liable to disruption or cancellation at short notice. The scheduled departures from Ardrossan at 09:45 a.m. and from Brodick at 11:05 a.m. were cancelled, and the ferry remained sidelined in Ardrossan. She finally returned to service on the morning July 21. However, the passenger capacity had the be reduced until a full repair can be carried out. As a result, the space was limited, and customers were advised to book in advance. As of July 22, the passenger numbers were back to capacity, and the ferry was also able to take on board dangerous goods vehicles However, the following shuttle buses remained in place to take passengers to and from Ardrossan: Departure Ardrossan: 12:20 p.m., 5:30 p.m. Departure Troon: 11:10 a.m., 4:45 p.m., 9:40 p.m.

The sailing from Kennacraig was diverted to Port Askaig. Furthermore the ferry operated an amended timetable on May 28, and the sailings were restricted to daylight operations. As a result, an amended timetable was operated, departing from Port Askaig at 06:30 a.m. (early 07:00) - ( change of departure port to Port Askaig), from Kennacraig at 09:00 a.m. (early 09:45), arriving at Port Askaig at 11:05 a.m. and departing at 11:20 a.m.(early 12:15), arriving at Colonsay-at12:30 p.m. and departing at 12:45 p.m. (early 13:40). arriving at Oban-at 3:15 p.m. and sailing at 3:35 p.m. (early 16:30), arriving at Colonsay at 6:05 p.m. and departing at 6:20 p.m. (early 19:15), arriving at Port Askaig at :30 p.m. and departing at 7:50 p.m. (early 20:45), finally arriving in Kennacraig-at 9:55 p.m. The reservation system was updated to reflect these changes, so some sailings may be unavailable. Impacted customers were to be contacted by the operator CalMac directly.
