The Filipino crewman of the "Amerigo Vespucci" who was released on Sep 30, 2010, after spending nearly weeks in captivity in Cameroon has returned home. He arrived aboard a Cathay Pacific flight CX-901 from Hong Kong on Oct 4 past 11 a.m. Welcoming him home were his relatives and officials of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA). He was abducted together with a Croatian when the ship was conducting dredging operations off the Cameroon coast on September 12. Nisda and the Croatian were crew members aboard the Belgian vessel Amerigo Vespucci.
