Engine failure off Kilitbahir
The 'Isik 2' suffered an engine failure off the coast of Kilitbahir en route from Diliskilesi to İzmir while entering the Çanakkale Strait on June 8 at 8 a.m. The ship was assisted by the tug 'Kurtarma 14' ((IMO: 9913585)) and anchored at Karanlık Liman in pos. 40° 02.06' N 026° 18.45' E at 8.45 a.m. under the coordination of the Çanakkale Ship Traffic Services Center, where it remained stationary as of June 10.
