Gunece

The 'Günece' has shifted from Piraeus to the Tuzla shipyard area in order to carry out permanent repairs on Oct 23 at 4.20 p.m. upon completion of departure formalities. She had been in collision with the "One Blue Jay" during cargo operations at Perama on Sep 26. The ship sailed again on Nov 17 at 7.30 p.m. and headed to Kyme with an ETA as of Nov 19.

The container ship 'One Blue Jay' has departed from Perama on on Sep 27, upon completion of both cargo operation and incident investigation formalities. The 'Günece' has completed its cargo operation and initial damage surveys and temporary repairs were conducted at the pier. The tanker shifted to Piraeus anchorage and remained stationary at on Oct 1.

The Japanese container ship 'One Blue Jay' with a crew of 23 was in collision with the 'Gunece' while proceeding to the container terminal in Perama port near Piraeus on Sep 26, 2019, at 11.10 a.m. upon its arrival from Singapore. The tanker was docked at Neo Ikonio in Keratsini. One of the 13 crew members of tanker was injured and had to be hospitalized. There were up to half a dozen tugs on the site to render assistance. The tanker with 3.200 tons of fuel on board had suffered a hull crack. The situation was brought under control, and the tanker was fenced off with oil booms. The container ship berthed at Container Terminal SA at 11.40 a.m.
