Gulf-Loyalty

The Vietnam MRCC medevaced a sick crew member of the 'Gulf Loyalty', en route from Singapore to China, on the night of Feb 15, 2026, and transferred him to the Vinmec Nha Trang International General Hospital for treatment the same morning. At 11:28 p.m. the ship, which was sailing about 100 nautical miles southeast of Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa), reported that the man of Georgian nationality experienced health problems due to a serious illness. Following the recommendation of the Italian International Maritime Medical Support Center, the captain of the 'Gulf Loyalty' contacted the VMRCC and requested assistance in transporting the patient ashore as soon as possible for specialized treatment. The VMRCC reported to the National Civil Defense Committee and the Vietnam Maritime and Inland Waterways Administration to coordinate a plan to guide the 'Gulf Loyalty 'towards Nha Trang. At the same time, a task force was dispatched on the rescue ship 'SAR-273' to leave Nha Trang port to conduct rescue operations during the night. On Feb 16 att 08:00 a.m. the 'SAR-273' approached the 'Gulf Loyalty' off the coast of Nha Trang to pick up the patient and take him to Nha Trang port.
