The Turkish captain of the "Gulf Express" suffered from a fractured forearm and was medevace in the afternoon of MAr 2, 2016, by a speedboat of Coastguard and taken to the harbour of Annaba. The ship was underway from Lisboa to Taranto, but due to the injury dropped anchor in Annaba.
