Faulty valves interrupted voyage
The "Sukret" en route from Archangelsk to Iskenderun with a crew of 22 on board, anchored in position 57 53 04 N, 006 38 05 W, at the entrance to Loch Seaforth, Minch, on Dec 1 at 12.30 p.m. due to an engine issue. Repairs of the two faulty valves were completed at 5.30 p.m. and the ship resumed its voyage. It was carrying 1.250 tonnes of scrap steel.
