Bottom touch on Elbe
On Mar 19, 2015, the "Choapa Trader", coming from Bremerhaven, touched the bottom of the Elbe at the height of the Elbe tunnel in Altona in the afternoon and listed significantly to starboard thereby. The ship was about to turn around when it got stuck. It was stopped by an emergency anchoring and berthed at Eurogate at 7.30 p.m. She left the Eurogate again at 10.15 p.m. being next bound for Caucedo, ETA Mar 30.
