Collision off Groningen
On Aug 3, 2020, at 2 a.m. the 'Aceromar', enroute from Loviisa to Rotterdam, was in collision with the trawler 'Hein Senior' 'Hein Senior - Z 575' off Groningen in position 53 56 N, 006 5 E. The vessel suffered damages to its side and gantry crane. It berthed in the Wilhelmina Port in Rotterdam at 10.45 p.m. The 'Hein Senior' was safely moored at Lauwersoog at 9.15 a.m. with superficial damages. The incident was investigated by the Port State Control and the maritime police in the Netherlands.
