Explosion injured two crew members
On Dec 9, 2025, at 2.25 a.m. a crankshaft explosion occurred in the main engine area of the 'Grip Superior', which was berthed at the SPQ pier in the port of QuellĂłn. Two crew members of the wellboat were injured. Harbour Police provided first aid, before they were transported to the hospital of QuellĂłn for further treatment by SAMU personnel. An investigation was launched by the relevant authorities.
