GRIP ANTARCTIC 9167954
On June 12, 2010, at 11 p.m. the "Rune Viking suffered a hole in one of its bunker tank while touching the bottom at Fleskleia between Myre and Stø. From Myre the rescue boat "Knut Hoem" was called. The "Rune Viking" proceeded with own power to an anchorage in the sheltered water of the Gavelfjord. The crew of the "Knut Hoem" traced a breach in the foreship region on port side and temporarily sealed it. The vessel was then allowed to enter Svolvaer for permanent repairs.
