Halunder-Jet

The "Halunder Jet" left the island port of Heligoland again on Oct 20 at 4.20 p.m. and headed to Bremerhaven with an ETA as of 8.30 p.m. The damage suffered in the incident is to be repaired at the Bredo Yard. The ferry left Bremerhaven again on Oct 25 at 3.15 and headed to Hamburg where it arrived at 6.10 a.m. to resume its schedule to Cuxhaven and Heligoland.

Due to stormy winds the 'Halunder Jet' when unmooring in Heligoland port for the return trip to Cuxhaven and Hamburg allided with the quay on Oct 18, 2019. Two windows were broken, and the ship had to berth again. The passengers were transferred onto the passenger m/v 'Helgoland' while the ferry remained in the port for the time being. The scheduled sailing on Oct 19 was cancelled.

The "Halunder Jet" suffered a technical malfunction of the starboard side water jet propulsion and was withdrawn from the Cuxhaven-Helgoland service after the tour on June 5, 2019 until at least June 8. The ship entered the Norder Yard in Hamburg for repairs on June 5 at 8.30 p.m. Travellers were recommended to change to the "Helgoland" to get from Cuxhaven to Helgoland during ths time. The "Halunder Jet" left the yard again on June 9 at 9.30 a.m. It resumed its schedule from Cuxhaven to Heligoland at 11.30 a.m. and arrived at Heligoland at 12.40 a.m.
