Allision in Takoradi
The "Industrial Charger" allided with the pier while arriving at the port of Takoradi on May 1, 2019. It also came in contact with the IoM flagged pipe layer "Seven Pacific". (IMO: 9518311). Portuguese and UK accident investigation teams were evaluating and analysing the incident which did not result in any injuries or pollution. The vessel left Takoradi again on May 15 at 1.15 p.m. and was being moored off the port in pos. 04° 53.69' N 001° 44.58' W since. The pipe layer left the port on May 5 and berthed in Mindelo on May 11, heading to the Bahamas the next day.
