Ship in distress in cyclone
The 'Greatship Adity' got in distress in the Gulf of Khambhat, north of Mumbai, on May 17, 2021, at 2.30 p.m. in the cyclone Tauktae. The ship, which had been enroute from Nhava SHeva to Panna, reported flooding in the adverse weather in vicinity 20 10 00N, 071 37 00E. On May 18 the propulsion system on board has been restored, and the crew was reportedly safe.
