Medevac off Vietnam
The "Penyuan" reqested medical assistance to an electrocuted Filipino crew member of 30 years in the afternoon of March 9, 2019, while en route from Ho Chi Minh to Guangzhou. The ship was 50 miles off the coast of the Nha Trang Province. THe Vietnamese MRCC advised first-aid measures, later it was decided, that the victim was in need of hospitalization. The tanker turned towards the Vietnamese coast to meet an SAR ship, and the man was medevaced on March 10 at 10 a.m.
