On March 15 2012, the 50,000 DWT semi-submersible self-propelled heavy lift vessel "HAI YANG SHI YOU 278" was delivered in Shenzhen. "Hai Yang Shi You 278" is invested upon by Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd. (COOEC). The vessel has a length of 221.6m, a width of 42.0m, a depth of 13.3m and a dead weight capacity of 53,500m3. In 2011, Dockwise Ltd. and COOEC signed a five-year contract. According to the contract, "Hai Yang Shi You 278 " will come into service immediately after the delivery.
