Angelicoussis' Maran Tankers inks scrubber and ballast water system deal with Sembcorp Marine
Angelicoussis' Maran Tankers has inked an order for 13 scrubber retrofits and four ballast water management systems at Sembcorp Marine. The orders by the prominent Greek shipowner represent the largest green shipping order to date for the Singapore yard group. Under the contract Sembcorp Marine will fits scrubbers and ballast water systems to four suezmax tankers from Maran and scrubbers to nine very large crude carriers (VLCCs). The work will be carried on between Q3 this year and February 2020.
