Bottom touch following engine blackout
On May 26, 2017, at 1.28 p.m. the pilot of the "Grande Ellade" reported an engine blackout during the departure from Esbjerg. As a result the ship had a bottom touch directly off the port. Tugs were called to pull it off the sandbar again, and the ship had to return to port for surveys.
