Medevac off Algeciras
Salvamento Marítimo has medevaced a crew member of the 'Grande Cameroon', en route from Dakar to Valencia, with the Helimer 202 helicopter to Jerez de la Frontera off the coast of Algeciras on Sep 16, 2021. The MRCC in Tarifa was notified at 9.44 a.m. and coordinated the resonse. Th crew member had a low oxygen saturation, and it was necessary to transfer him to a hospital.
