Crew member died of stroke
A man has been airlifted to hospital after collapsing on board the "Ievoli Cobalt" off the Isle of Wight on Sep 11, 2017. Two crew members tried to resuscitate the man when the alarm was raised. The Bembridge RNLI boat launched at 6 a.m. to the ship which was located in St Helens Roads, following a report that a crew member had possibly suffered a stroke. Two crew members were transferred to the "Ievoli Cobalt", who after an initial assessment, carried out CPR on the casualty until the arrival of the Coastguard helicopter’s paramedic.
