Accident on buoy layer

On OCt 15, 2015, at 8.50 a.m. a 44 year old crew member of the "Alte Weser" was severely injured at the head during an accident. The ship was exchanging buoys on the Weser at that time. The lifeboat "Hermann-Rudolf-Meyer" attended with a medical team on board and carried out first aid on board. At the container terminal Bremerhaven the man was taken ashore with a ladder of the fire brigade and taken to the hospital Bremerhaven for further treatment.
