Worker deadly injured on board of bulk carrier
A worker aboard the 'Iberian Bulker' was injured in an accident and has died as a result, while was docked at Aberdeen's south harbour at the Dunnottar Quay onJuly 22, 2023, at around 3:40 p.m. Emergency services attended, but the man died at the scene. A report was submitted to the Procurator Fiscal. The police was leading an investigation to determine the cause of the incident, and the Port of Aberdee nwas assisting the authorities with their inquiries. The Health and Safety Executive has been made aware. The ship remained stationary in port as of July 24.
