EastMed bulker stuck in soft mud
A supramax owned by Thanassis Martinos-backed company grounds on the Parana River. Bulk carrier ELENI M loaded with 36000 tons of soy beans, en route from Recalda Argentina to Las Palmas, ran aground reportedly, on Mar 28 on Uruguay river, off Nueva Palmira. Vessel said to be hampering traffic, salvage under way. At 0800 UTC Mar 30 vessel was still aground, with tugs at her side and nearby.
