Captain went missing off Bontang
The Captain of the 'HC Unity' went missing on Dec 26, 2022, at the Bontang Anchorage, Kalimantan. As of Jan 4, divers continued to search for the 44-year old Chinese man. His body, however, could not yet be found. The details of the incident were unknown at this date, and the investigation was still going on. The ship had arrived at Bontang Anchorage on Dec 17, 2022, en route from Zhouhai and remained moored in pos. 00° 01.02' S 117° 34.96' E since.
