Equipment stolen off Singapore
The master of cthe 'Leyla K.' realised the missing of a breathing apparatus air charging compressor and an M4 Weldon pump from the vessel while at anchor, presumably stolen, in position 01 42 30N, 104 28 42E, in the Singapore Strait on April 11, 2020, at 10.30 a.m. The crew did not notice the boarding of perpetrators. The Singapore authorities were informed of the incident via email by the Master on April 13. The authorities shared the information with the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) and the Singapore Police Coast Guard. A safety navigational broadcast was initiated, and the Malaysian and Indonesian authorities were also notified.
