Two ships hit by projectiles off Fujairah
The tanker 'Libra Trader' (IMO: 9562673), enroute from mina al Ahmadi, was struck by an unidentified projectile at its anchorage in pos. 25° 13' N 056° 53' E on March 3, 2026, approximately ten nautical miles off Fujairah. it caused damage to its funnel, with debris and the projectile being recovered from the deck. In a separate incident about seven nautical miles east of Fujairah, the 'Gold Oak' (IMO: 9806342), enroute from Singapore to Fujairah, was struck by an unknown projectile that damaged the vessel’s steel. The ship had dropped anchor off Fujairah in pos. 25° 13' N 056° 53' E on Feb 28.
