Titan LNG successfully bunkers vessel using T-piece
Titan LNG has announced that it has successfully bunkered the M/T Fure West in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, using T-piece technology. The T-piece combines the flow from two trucks into one bunkering hose. This reduces the time required compared to sequential truck deliveries, and saw a combined pumping rate reach 28 tph. During the port call, six trucks in total were delivered using the T-piece. Hans Lindgren, vessel operator, Furetank, said: “The T-Piece reduces the bunkering time for our vessel significantly, we look forward to have Titan LNG make it available in other ports as well.” https://www.lngindustry.com/small-scale-lng/24052017/titan-lng-successfully-bunkers-vessel-using-t-piece/
