Collision on Wester Scheldt
The tanker ''Kriti Emerald' (IMO:9292577) was in collision with the 'Ever Globe', which was en route from Antwerp to Hamburg, on the Western Scheldt in the Nauw van Bath in the night of May 6, 2023, at 11.30 p.m. en route from Antwerp to Primorsk. The ship moored at Wielingen North in pos. N 003° 29.58' 003° 29.58'Eon May 7 at 4.20 a.m. The police of Flushing and the patrol boat 'RWS 78' of Rijkswaterstaat attended and started investigations. Both ships suffered structural damages, one gangway was broken off. The 'Ever Globe' continued on its way with an ETA as of May 8.
