Leaking valve off Harwich
The 'Atlantic Ocean', en route from Hamburg to Casablanca with 19 cew members on board, suffered a leaking valve on the cooling system in position 51 53 21 N, 002 28 20 E, about 44 nautical miles off Harwich port on May 25, 2022, at around 4 p.m. UTC. The vessel was carrying 31700 metric tonnes of wheat as cargo. It was expected that the crew would need five to six hours to rectify the issue. As of May 26, the ship was moored in pos. 51° 52.47'N 002° 25.38' E.
