Six tons cocaine seized in Algeciras
Nearly 6 tons of cocaine, with a value of 210 million Euro, were found stashed in one of six containers loaded with bananas, which arrived at Algeciras port aboard the "Banak" on Nov 25, 2017. Neither the ship, its’ manager and its’ crew apparently were involved in drug trafficking. BANAK arrived at Algeciras on Nov 25, left port on the same day and continued the voyage to Livorno in accordance with service schedule.
