Having delivered the largest ship ever built at its yard nine days ago, Tsuneishi Heavy Industries (Cebu), Inc is now mapping out its future. On January 20 the yard named and delivered the 180,000 dwt capesize Frontier Zone, the third ship to deliver in January alone. Tsuneishi Cebu is set to deliver 20 ships this year, including two capesizes, 11 kamsarmaxes, six handymaxes and one 45,000 dwt bulker. Part of Japan’s Tsuneishi Shipbuilding Group which received 60 ship orders last year, the Cebu yard is expected to handle 50% of these orders, with ships delivering all the way into 2017.
