Detention in Caofeidian
The 'Frontier Garland' was detained at the port of Caofeidian following a Port State Control inspection on April 17, 2026. The inspectors found a total of five deficiencies, two of which were of which were being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention. The inspection was conducted under the Tokyo Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The vessel remained under detention pending the rectification of the identified issues. The ship left the port again on April 20, next headed to Zhoushan with an ETA as of April 23.
