Ferry stuck at quay due to power outage
The "Glutra" operating on the Flakk - Rørvik service was stuck at the dock in Flakk after power outages at the ferry quay in the evening of Nov 8, 2018. Since it is not possible to lift the bridge after the power outage, the ferry was fixed at the quay and had to wait for the power to return. The cars that had driven aboard the "Glutra" had to back on land again afterwards.
Ferry suffered technical malfunction
The ferry route between Flakk and Rørvik timewise could not be served on Oct 3, 2018, due to technical problems aboard the "GLutra". The "Korsfjord", which usually runs the route was to fill gas on that day, so the "Glutra" had taken over, but moored in Trondheim to troubleshoot an electrical failure. Technicians were called in order to determine what caused the error. At 2 p.m. the "Korsfjord" was ready to take over again.
Ferry sidelined due to technical trouble
The "Glutra" suffered technical trouble on Nov 25, 2015, and had to be sidelined in Flakk, leaving only the ferry "Korsfjord" servicing between Flakk and Rørvik in the morning hours.since 6 a.m. An effort was started to obtain a replacement ferry. In the foremidday the "Glutra" was undertaking trials after repairs were carried out.
