Probably hit an underwater object in Ronne harbour
According to reports, it is reported that passenger ro/ro Max (5617 gt, built 1998), probably hit an underwater object, during its manoeuvres in Ronne harbour, on the evening of Jul 7. As a result of the impact, part of the vessel's hydraulic system got loosened and did not work properly. Technicians are working on the solutions, but in the meantime, passenger ro/ro Povl Anker has been notified for deployment if the vessel is not repaired on time.
Turbocharger broke
The "Max Mols" encountered technical problems with the turbo charger which broke, and remained at the ferry berth in Aarhus since the last trip on Aug 27, 2016. The trips were cancelled until Aug 31 while technicians were working to resolve the problem.
