Blackout off Norderney
The "Frisia III" suffered an engine blackout after the departure in Norderney on Mar 3, 2016, at 4.45 p.m. and went adrift in the wetlands south of the island. Some time later the fully occupied ferry regained power and could return to Norderney at 5.30 p.m. where the passengers were disembarked onto the "Frisia I" and taken to Norddeich.
