Estelle Maersk diverted to Wilhelmshaven following Weser collision
On May 12, 2013, at 1.40 p.m. the "Estelle Maersk" berthed at the Jade-Weser-Port in Wilhelmshaven, the largest ship ever to enter the port. The shio was enroute from Rotterdam to Bremerhaven but had to be diverted due to a restriction of draught on the Weser following the collision of the "Conmar Avenue" and "Maersk Kalmar". The Jade Weser Port offered unrestricted space and immediately offered to assist.
