Cargo ship suffered engine trouble

On April 10, 2025, the 'Frjamfjord' suffered engine probles off the por of Myre. The NSSR boat 'Halfdan Grieg' (MMSI: 259176000) and other ships were mobilized to assist the disabled vessel at 11.40 a.m., which had trouble with its cooling system, and the lifeboat took it in tow just before noon with the catamaran ship 'Brennsund' (MMSI: 257026930) as steering assistance at the stern. The cargo ship was safely docked at Kartneset at 3:10 p.m. The weather on scene was calm, and everything went well. At 4 p.m. the damage was repaired, and the ship continued to Andenes. Fire in excavator

On Jan 20, 2020, at 11 a.m. a fire broke out in the excavator mounted on the deck of the 'Framfjord' which was berthed north of Skattøra in Tromsø. The fire department was on site within short time and quickly gained control of the fire. It had ignited when hydraulic oil dripped onto a hot pipe according to the investigations of the police. The vessel left the port of Hammerfest on Jan 23 at 1 a.m. and headed to Averøy with an ETA as of Jan 26. Trouble in Valderhaugfjord

The "Mokosica" on Nov 10, 2012, got stuck between Kjeholmen and Valderøya. The lifeboat "Emmy Dyvi" was called to assist. The ship with a crew of six was enroute to Kristiansund when the it veered off its course following an engine failure in the Valderhaugfjord and got stuck at the rocks at Valderøya between Mulelid quay and Valderhaug. The crew managet to anchor, and it was not yet clear whether the ship, which was stopped at a small pierl in fact had run aground. The "Emmy Dyvi" at 9.55 a.m. sailed from Ålesund and headed for the freighter. At 10.20 a.m. the lifeboat started to pull the casualty out of the bay. and further to Ålesund.
