Allision in Umm Qasr
The cargo m/v 'Baghdad' (IMO: 9636242), while mooring at Umm Qasr, allided with the berthed 'ESL Winner' in the afternoon Dec 24. The impact was so strong that the lifeboat of the container ship was torn off its’ lashings, and it launched onto the 'Baghdad'.
