RN-Bunker LLC, Rosneft subsidiary, has put into operation its state-of-the-art bunkering tanker RN Olymp at port Tuapse. According to Rosneft press center, the vessel’s cargo capacity is about 4,800 t, maximum fuel supply capacity - 800 cbm/h. The new tanker of unrestricted navigation meets all the safety requirements and complies with all international shipping conventions. RN Olymp will be deployed for operation in seaports of the Black Sea Basin.

Turkish chemical tanker Firdes suffered engine failure on June 5 13 or earlier, en route from Ceuta Spain, to Bilbao, Spain, in the Atlantic. As of evening June 6 tanker was proceeding under tow of SAR tug Ria de Vigo (Spain, IMO 8311417) to Bilbao, in Bay of Biscay, ETA June 8.
